No More Candy! My Mini Valentines...
I decided not to give my students candy this year. Not only does is dental decay a huge issue but I think they will L*O*V*E this just as much. It was super simple to do. I bought bags of bubbles from Target for 2 dollars a set and took some ribbon to make it a necklace. Finally, my valentine note says, "I am bubbling over with love for kinderkids." No fuss but I think this is adorable. Gift and card all wrapped up in one! I am offering the tag as a freebie but if you post it please link back to me. Click here. Once you cut the tag out loop the top through the heart and tape it to the back of the bubbles. I also taped the tag down to the bubble tube. If you like this check out my valentine packet on TpT or Teachers Notebook and now you are my valentine!

I LOVE this! I am constantly using bubbles to celebrate my kiddos for working hard and being helpful and kind...it has turned out to be one of the BEST incentives ever! They will love this! =)
I would love for you to come check out my giveaway to win one of the cutest shirts you have EVER seen and some other great items! =)

Hi Fran,
I bought the same bubbles for my kinders! Would you mind posting the tag that you created? I love the idea of adding a ribbon to create a necklace- clever! :)

This is such a great idea! I was looking for something that was not candy related and my kinders LOVE the bubbles! Thanks so much!

I try not to give our candy either. Love this idea! Thanks for sharing it!
This year I'm doing little gift bags. No candy!! Just fun and wonderful things to promote writing! I found mini note pads, pencils and heart shaped springs at Target. I decided to make a little tag that says something about loving to write.

Really Really cute, Fran!!
Thank you for posting the tag! Your generosity is so appreciated! :)

This is so adorable and so "Kindergarten Crayons!" cute!
The kids will LOVE them! For years I have given red heart helium balloons One for each child. They look great in the room and who doesn't love a balloon! They are always blown up already and around 80 cents ea. It is a tradition for me.
Now I want to do bubbles too! Gotta control myself. Ugh!
Thank you for sharing the tags--this is a great idea!

Love this!! :) I usually give gum. One piece. And they have to wait until they get home.
Thanks for the comment on my blog about the thinking maps. Hadar said in her comment that she couldn't wait to see what you would say!!!! :)
I will definitely be hitting you up with some questions as I go along. I would have TONS of coffee and anything else your heart desired if you visited my classroom. :)

Very cute! I found the COOLEST valentine's at the Dollar Tree a few years ago. They are flat square packages that you smash on the desk. They blow up and out pops a 4inch or so balloon! Fun and science all together! There's 4 per pack so I bought 7 packs. (cause you HAVE to show it off and make them love them before you give it to them for Valentine's day!! :) )
