Will I Get Lucky?

Where has the time gone? February just whipped past me with so much going on that I thought I was going to choke! Valentine's Day and the 100th day were on top of each other and then we had to celebrate George and Abe as part of our Social Studies work. I cannot keep up the pace and now report cards are looking me in the eye. I have to do a billion individual assessments that make me cranky. So this time I am trying to build in some activities that might look like fun while I check on their skills. You better hope I have the "luck of the Irish" during this week. On top of all this our school is up for another award, we have a field trip coming, and Read Across America is just around the corner. Really? Wish me luck!

I feel your pain Fran! I am looking forward to your "Luck O' the Irish" pack. Our report cards are due on March 9th, so we are assessing NOW! It's so hard trying to keep learning going, while assessing. These themes take so much time and energy! February just feels like a crazy rush of so many topics that I can never fully develop. We do our best though don't we!
Thanks and have a super Friday!

Oh my yes!!! Assessment time is PAINFUL...I just don't like spending sooooo much time away from teaching. It really drains me and I know my little ones get tired too. Hope all goes well for you...and for all of us who are in "assessment mode."
Can't wait to see your packet!!!!

I can't wait for your packet! I also need it! Our report card grades are also due on March 9, along with DRA scores. So much to do and so little time! I am totally feeling your pain! I am saying prayers for all teachers! :)

I did report card testing two weeks ago and filled them out and sent them home last week. I am so glad to get that out of the way! Good luck!!!
