100 Days of Learning... Teaching... Exhaustion

We just hit our 100th day of school and it was really fun for my kids. I had a lot of parents come in to help and run the centers that I created. However, I have a lot of extra activities so you know what I'll be doing this week!
The glow bracelets were a change from the certificate I use to give out with "smarties" attached. Check out the amazing cookies. They were gorgeous and the kids loved the treat at the end of a day full of counting and number work. We all had a blast!

It looks amazing! I really love the glow bracelets and the headbands! I can totally understand why you feel exhausted at times. You do so much for your students, family and fellow teachers. You are awesome Fran!

"My blogging friend Camille" ... heh, that's me!!!! You have put a HUGE smile on my face! Thanks! I am not sure where I got the idea for the 100 item bottles from, but it was a blog, of course! I love the bracelets and the glasses and the portraits and everything! What a fun, learning-filled day!

Great ideas! I need to start recruiting parent volunteers. I used plastic lacing last year for the 100 day fruitloop necklaces and that worked well, but many of my kinders were still having trouble counting to ten and keeping track. Parent volunteers were definitely helpful. I found it surprising how they can count to ten just fine. They can count how many, but to put ten fruitloops (or stickers) on a string, ten times had some of them frustrated. 11 more days...I better get busy.

Thanks again for the great ideas!!
