Yup... I am creating kindergarten assessments today and this party will probably start in the next few days. I am not a big fan but I know we have to do it. I create the assessments for our district and I am always torn between reflecting our math standards and making it fun for the kids so I get their best work. Can it be fun?
I am not so sure but I will give it my best shot.

I'd love to see your assessments! It takes my K-team so long to test for report card testing and I have been wanting to hear how other teachers do it!
I create activities that match our standards and I try to make them independent or small group activities. We test too close to the wire and it stresses me so much. I have to come up with them sooner but I have no time to do it.
Ho-hum.
Hi Fran,
Just discovered your blog. Lucky me. Would you consider posting your assessments for download? Or do you have a Tpt account? I am looking for ways to assess the children. Like you, it should still be fun.

Blogger was down for a few days and I was serioulsy in a funk but now all is well again and I am back to Blogland. Wow it feels like being disconnected from the world-right?! The end is closing in and I am not ready at all!
