Target Addicts: Did You Spot These?

Seriously, I need to stay out of this store for the rest of the summer. I am not even kidding! I flipped out when  I saw the capital letter stamps and the dotted numbers. I can make a million activities with those to make practicing numbers and letters less traumatic. The little baskets are just the right size for the stamps and a small pad. Check it out. I will post some worksheets later to use with these stamps. I need TA (target for addicts) intervention. Do you? Ladybug Teaching Files is having a linky party for hard-core shoppers who can't resist containers, stickers, plastic stuff, teaching awards, etc. Does this sound familiar? Check out all the posts on her fantastic site. She has a blog that I think is rock star quality

I just posted some of my finds at Target this morning as well. Looks like you got some great but different things. I'll have to keep my eye out. Seems as though they are bringing things out in waves.

When you start that club for Target addicts please let me know. It's interesting that very different things show up at Targets around the country. Thanks for all your great ideas!
Linda
P.S. I would love to see you set up a feed from your blog. Then I could put your blog right on my igoogle page!

OMG! I do too. I always hit the dollar spot first. Only the last time I went they hadn't replenished anything yet. It was all picked over. :(

The closest Target to me is about 35 minutes away. :( They almost never have the stuff that people post about finding. They do have a few things, but not the really really good stuff I want! I'm going to a Target on Saturday. Maybe I'll have more luck then!

Aw Fran, you are so sweet! YOU are the true rock-star of bloggers!!

I love your purchases--those baskets are a great size...I'm getting a little nervous now because I swore I would not buy any new storage this year!! I should probably force myself to stay out of Target as well, it's just too dangerous! Don't you think the Target classroom stuff just gets better each year? It's like they are reading what we say out here!!

Thanks for linking up, I hope you are having a fantastic summer! :)

Fran,
I got those abc stamps last year and my kids loved to use them during word work (first grade) to stamp their words into playdough. Liz in South Dakota

Just went to Target today too! Bought way to much stuff for my room! The best thing I found were the double sided word strips (4 in a pack for $1)! I am just overflowing with ideas to use with these. Didn't see the number stamps though! Would have love to get a set or two of those.

I am in Tennessee and our Target has a dollar spot but they still have Tiki bar, ocean and beach stuff.... there is nothing even closely resembling your treasures! Where are you? I wonder if my Target will get this stuff eventually? Tried Target.com to no avail! :(
Maybe they will have some of it in Florida, I will be there in a few days!

I was just at Target and they didn't have any school stuff, yet. I will have to go back in a day or two.

Fran, do you have the bar code or item numbers off your alphabet and number stamps by any chance? I looked at our nearest Target last night and they were out, but they said if I had the item numbers they could check for me if I called. I live an hour from Target, so I can't go daily. God definitely has to part of that! Ha!

JACKPOT!!! I had no luck finding any fun teacher treasures at the Target near my house. My son was at a birthday party an hour away today so I stopped at the Target there...YES!! I found the stamps, pocket charts and beads. I also found VERY cute patterns blocks and shapes. I also grabbed some fun containers. Spent way too much...but I couldn't resist!! There was a Dollar Tree across the street...I picked up 21 containers for student book boxes. Great Day!
