Pete the Cat...keep walking along, singing your song

Attention Kindergarten Teachers:
How cute is this? My kids love this book and if  you are not familiar with it order it ASAP. It is also a song that you can download and put on your school  ipod. My kids sing it all the time and it is all about never giving up and taking life's challenges on with a smile. The author is Eric Litwin and the kids in my class insisted that I
make them a little book of their own. Here is a video of this song with the author. Fantastic-right?

Love it!!! I have never heard of Pete the Cat. I can just hear the kids now, breaking out in song during centers or writers workshop.:)

Love the story. I had never heard of it! I ordered it right away. My brain is already working overtime thinking of the reading, writing, singing, acting, and math we could do with this story! Thanks for sharing.

That is so cute. I started singing along in after Pete stepped in the blueberries.

Thank you for recommending this book (and for making a math mat to go with it)! I bought it last week and my students absolutely love it! We can't stop singing Pete's song! I just posted about it on my blog. Did you know there is a new Pete the Cat book due out at the end of July--I'm so excited!

Yay! I am so excited to find out how much you love Pete the Cat as well. I stumbled upon the book and it was an INSTANT success. My special ed Prek-ers ask for it by name (all the time). One of my students is barely verbal and the book has encouraged her to start using two word combinations.

Anyway im excited to check out your ideas for Pete. Thanks for the ideas!
