CVC Words...sound them out but don't spit all over the teacher!

Lots of  teachers seem to want cvc activities so I am putting up another one that you can run on stock and laminate or just run off as is. I use letter tiles for this activity but you could have students write the letters with a special marker. It's just a quick and easy center for tomorrow.

Please leave a comment and let me know if you like these.

Love it, thanks! I think I will laminate them and have my students use dry-erase markers.

Fran, I think a 3 step Target program would be great:
1. Go to Target
2. Go to Dollar Store
3. Go out to eat and share the
catch with all the ideas!

Fran, I'm so glad I found you. I stumbled across your blog a month or so ago and then "lost" you. Wheww, I feel so lucky. Anyway these little cvc cards are perfect for tomorrow. Sending them to my printer right now. Shhh, don't tell my husband. More ink and card stock are on my list for the week. Some women buy shoes, I buy ink... ah the life of a kinder teacher. Angie K

Could you tell me what the third card is on the first page? It's the one with the brown handle and green pinwheel-looking thing. I was trying to figure out what CVC word it fit and have no idea!

The word is pop (like lollipop). I hope that helps you.

Fran, These are awesome! I love teaching thematically (even with CCSS), but because these are "theme-free", they can go into my centers anytime!!! THank you!!!!
