My Bags Are Packed, I'm Ready to Go...

Finally I am on my way to Vegas. My bag is packed and I am so ready to go. What new ideas am I going to come back with for my blogging buddies? I hope I can wow you! If you are going to this I cannot wait to meet you and give you a hug. I have been waiting for this all summer. Look at Vegas... Here I come (okay now I am lying because I hate the smoke and I would die if I lost a nickel in a slot machine). I will be surrounded by my peeps... I  L*O*V*E  Kindergarten Teachers!

Pete Loves Crayons Just Like I Do!

Pete the Cat has another stamping activity for you.
This is perfect for kinder anda perfect review for first grade.

Target better come up with lowercase alphabet letters soon because we need them ASAP. I actually have them at school from Lakeshore that a friend gave me. I wonder where they are buried in my closet? Obviously you can differentiate (I am so tired of that word) by having students write the letter with a pencil so their hands do not make you think they have not had a bath in 3 weeks- just sayin'. If you can't find the stamps release it and go find something at the mall that costs too much. This works. Now I am merging Pete and Target. I need some help. So if you want this download grab it at my TPT store right here.  Leave me a comment just because I love hearing from you!

More From the New Cat in Town: Meet Pete

The students in my class love these worksheets once they have learned the vocabulary presented. We build these sentences in a pocket chart and practice them for several days. When reading this book stop on each page and have your students predict what color his shoes will turn! This is a simple story but a great way to do prediction on a very simple level. Here is the "goodie" I promised. I hope you like it. First grade teachers can have kids create their own adjectives such as "dirty", squishy, rainbow, etc. Tomorrow I will create a class book for you to use. Can you think of a better way to introduce adjectives? Awesome-right?

Hold On to Your Seat... I Am Celebrating!

To celebrate this award I am giving out lots of presents to my friends.Who doesn't love a goodie bag?  So go over and buy my Pete the Cat packet, if you can use it and get ready for some freebies to go along with it. I am so excited to hand out party favors.
First: Go download my Pete color words at my TpT store because it is F*R*E*E and I don't know about you but I love free so much.

I Just Burst Into Tears Because...

I am so shocked and honored to have received this award. I certainly did not expect it and when I read the email I burst into tears.Thank you to all the bloggers and followers that voted for me. I will never forget this moment in time.

Stamp On My Ants...Please!

I am adding more of these cuties for you to use at the beginning of the year (or not). I need to start packing for Vegas since I am leaving on Sunday (yes I am dancing around the room with joy) so I will continue to make these little activities until then. I hope you are having fun downloading them. If you like them please leave me a comment and check out my Pete the Cat packet at  TpT . You can click on the bar on the right side of the blog. This has been so much fun... see you tomorrow with the next stamping activity! Download it now.

Stamp Your Paper- Not Your Neighbor!

This was a suggestion made in my comments from Darla. It was a great idea so I made it to share with all of you and I hope you like it. Grab it right here and leave a comment. I need to stop making these.

Who Wants to Buy a Cat?

Pete the Cat is finally finished and up on TpT. Can you believe it? It is much longer than I expected but I got on a roll with it and  tried to come up with a million activities for the beginning of the year. I tried to make everything "hands on" and standards based. I included some beginning maps, little readers, and number activities that support what we learned during our MWS study. If you have ELL's this might be what you are looking for too! So if you decide to purchase it, leave me a comment and let me know what you think. The graphics were done by my friend Makda and I L*O*V*E them. Notice that Pete has lots of confidence. You will now be my best friend, ever. I'm starting to sound like Junie B. Jones.  Click here to get to my TpT page!

Here is my first comment on my Pete Packet! Thanks.

Stamp Your Paper Not Your Clothes!

So lots of my blogging friends have suggested going to Michaels' for number and letter stamps but they might be a bit pricey so don't forget that coupon. Also ask someone at Target if they have any in stock and they can tell you if a nearby store has them! Great tip. I need to stop making these little worksheets and move on with other things but I can't resist! Click here to get these worksheet.

Stamp Your Paper- Not Your Feet

Okay... I am finished making an activity packet for TpT so I decided to celebrate with freebies. If you cannot find these stamps don't tell me. It makes me feel guilty. However, your kids could easily just write the missing letters and you won't have to deal with stamped body parts or blue fingers until dismissal time. If you decide to download this, leave me a comment and please follow me... Can I hit 1,000? Woohoo! Wait a minute. That is not a real word. Download these pages here!
