This is over now. Keep you eyes open for the next file. I hope you got this one! Thanks for all the great comments. You suggested so many amazing ideas. I hope my readers check these out.
Thank you so much for this freebie!! My students are working away on this skill. I love to use plastic eggs for the word families where the beginning sound is on one side and the rest of the word family is on the other side and they spin the egg and say the word.
Thank you! I am printing them right now. I like using plastic eggs with mixed up sentences. The kids put the words the correct order and then write them out.
Thank you for the freebie! I use eggs in a variety of ways: scrambled up sight words, letter matching, number matching, etc. I will definitely use your freebie with my class next week!
Oh goodness. I was away from my computer most of the day and missed these freebies. I work with preschoolers and love your ideas. I'll be back! I look forward to getting to know the teacher-blogging community. :)
What a great activity! Thank you so much for sharing. I live in Australia and the $2 shops here have had very slim pickings here too this year. Must be a worldwide trend! I really like that I could use this activity beyond Easter without the plastic bunnies. Thank you again. spottymist@gmail.com
I love the eggs that come in 3-4 parts (haven't been able to find them for a few years). They are great for building CVC and sight words with a letter on each piece.
Thank you, Fran! I like to cut up sight words and put them in the eggs for the kids to put back together and then write them out on their white boards. :) lorepuckett at gmail dot com
