I am so overwhelmed with work that I haven't even mentioned this huge event in my life. I am presenting at the I Teach K conference in Vegas this summer. I have not even had time to think about this and I am so excited to be attending. I hope lots of you are able to come. I'll be there for the entire time and I can't wait to go to learn from the experts on CCSS, new technologies, and other things that will make me smarter!
My presentation is on the value of teacher blogs and why you should follow them. I have a lot of ideas on blogging and you can hear about my journey (yawn) through Blogland. Seriously, it should be fun because I am loud and silly.
It's on Wednesday morning so I hope you are willing to roll out of bed, grab your coffee and come meet me. I am super excited to see you in person. (Yup, that is me screaming with happiness.) School will be OUT and I can be relaxed and more human. Just sayin'

I signed up for a different session during yours because I know I have a student in my class with OT concerns next year and felt that this particular workshop would be beneficial to her. I would love to come, but I have never flown anywhere! I wish the conference organizers could somehow post the conference handouts/powerpoints like the Reading Recovery website does.I know that you will be so great!

Oh Fran! I wish I was going? Even though Audrey will technically be in Kindergarten this Fall, I'm not sure I qualify:) I am so jealous of all the people that get to see you and hug you! Have tons of fun and I know your presentation is going to inspire so many educators!!

ReplyDeleteI wish I were coming also. Too bad they don't do a virtual-Skype-type spot for those of us that can't make it out. I am sure you'll be your usual AWESOME self. Lucky are those teachers that make it into your session! Have a BLAST...Break a leg..or whatever it is that is appropriate! ;-)

Congratulations Fran!!! You will be great. I am presenting at the SDE DI Conference (same location) on that day or I would be there. You are one of the reasons I started blogging! You were a great participant at my session at I Teach K last year (very fun and enthusiastic), so I am positive the conference attendees will enjoy you! And we all need a little help with blogging. I plan on attending the blog meet up, so I will see you there.
